Who are we?

Southern Ceilings is a family run business that was established in 1976 by Pat Galvin. It was one of the first suspended ceiling businesses in Ireland and to this day has continued to provide a service based on high quality and client satisfaction. Based in Waterford, Pat’s son Mark is now director of the company and he continues to service the loyal client base that Southern Ceilings has established over the past 36 years as well as attracting new clients from all over Ireland. Mark and his employees supply and install suspended ceilings and partitions to pharmaceutical, commercial and domestic markets and insure that correct maintenance is carried out on these projects long after the initial installation has been completed. While the company has grown and developed since it’s initial one man start up in 1976, it has not forgotten the values and expectations that a family run business holds at it’s core. It is this ethos that has ensured Southern Ceilings’ resilience against the challenges of the recent years within the construction industry in Ireland.
“TEVA Pharmaceuticals have used Southern Ceilings on a range of projects across our three units in Waterford and have found them to be a highly professional contractor who delivered on time and met all our requirements. I would have no hesitation in recommending Southern Ceilings as a Company to do business with.”
